Hi, I'm a 37 year old woman, very active. Yesterday I had a vein in my left palm get really blue and tender. Later on, after working out, a vein in my left index finger got really blue and when I accidently tapped it, it hurt really really bad. Now my finger looks bluish, purple. Like I have a bruise on it. Is this a cause for alarm? Do I go to urgent care?

Dear Mrs. Katya Cano,
I recommend you to go to urgent care/ to your doctor: it can be thrombosis of palmar digital vein or another vein or thhrombophlebitis( the inflamation of a vein). You needs few examinations and then conservative management.

Best regards,
